Project Name: Design and Development of Online Data Processing Tool for implementing Harmonized Social Cash Transfer MIS

• GCS lead MIS Specialist worked with UNICEF in Zimbabwe to provide technical support to the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare/Government of Zimbabwe for the design and development of an online data processing tool for application intake of beneficiaries that is linked to the Ministry’s MIS Platform. The lead MIS Specialist designed and developed the platform in close collaboration with the Ministry’s technical team as a part of the knowledge sharing strategy.
• The lead MIS Specialist used convergence solutions as a base design framework and customized the system to function as an online platform for application processing and registration that integrates with their functional MIS for data sharing and to maintain data integrity. The lead MIS Specialist handed over the application including the source code after the operational acceptance of the system. The system now is currently being maintained and managed independently by Ministry’s own technical resources.
